Okay, so you just need a decent place to sleep while you’re travelling. Quiet, but close to everything too. Where do you start your search?
Want more space and flexibility than a hotel room offers? Try an apartment-hotel. They’re usually a little more expensive than hotels, but they’re equipped with kitchenettes so you can prepare meals. Even if it’s just something simple like having the space to make your own sandwiches and veggies for lunch, it can save you money in the long run.

MORE TIPS FOR FINDING YOUR IDEAL ONTARIO ACCOMMODATION
To ensure I’m booking a decent place, I like to check tripadvisor.com before I travel. I read their user-generated reviews of lodgings to get a feel for a place. Of course you have to take it all with a grain of salt, because some of the reviews are fake (and some reviewers are just grumpy!), but I think if you get an overwhelming BAD or GOOD for many reviews, then that will tell you something. I’ve never been disappointed or shocked this way.
Are you getting the best deal on your Ontario accommodation? Once you’ve decided where to stay, and checked prices online, I recommend that you call or email the lodging directly. Tell them what you’ve found, and they may offer you a better deal than the one advertised elsewhere. It doesn’t always work, but it’s worth giving it a shot!
Above, I talked about various options like hotels, motels, cottages, hostels, camping and more. Now I'll offer you some specific suggestions for great places to stay in major tourist cities.
To learn more about each of these options, click on the title of each article and that will take you to a page with more information.
